What we collect
Dinner Ideas collects only what the site needs to work. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address you enter. When you send a message through the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject and message. When you save a recipe to your cookbook, that choice is stored in your own browser (local storage) — it never leaves your device. We do not run user accounts and we do not ask for your address, phone number or payment details.
How we use it
Newsletter addresses are used only to send the Dinner Ideas newsletter. Contact messages are used only to read and reply to your message. We never sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. If a service provider is needed to operate the site (for example, to deliver email), that provider receives only the data necessary to perform its job.
Cookies and analytics
Dinner Ideas may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which recipes and countries readers enjoy, so we can improve the atlas. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or fingerprinting. Your cookbook saves live in your browser's local storage and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your newsletter subscription or a contact message at any time — write to us through the contact form with the email address you used, and we will remove it. If you use the newsletter, every issue includes an unsubscribe link.
Children
Dinner Ideas is a general-audience cooking site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the newsletter. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
